This material is robust, just what you need when you are pulling large flies, trying to provoke an aggressive take.
It has terrific linear and knot strength and Fluorocarbon has very little in the way of a refractive index and as such it is very difficult to see when submerged, so it is the ideal choice for most fishing applications.
